When we do not know what to cook, one of our default ideas is to make sliders. We love how sliders are super versatile and creative. Whenever we have leftover foods that we would hate to waste, our go to is to place the foods in a small bun and create a tasty slider. This time, we had left over bacon, chicken and an apple that we never snacked on. It was a no brainer to put these ingredients together to make a delicious, small burger. We also wanted to use our simple honey mustard sauce to make our final meal in the one sauce, three dish concept. Putting all of these things together made for the best, fantastic treat! These cheddar apple bacon sliders were so flavorful and fun and we loved topping them with our tangy and sweet honey mustard sauce.
Our idea for one sauce, three meals has been our new favorite thing. It has made meal planning so effortless and has allowed us to repeat a delicious sauce over and over again. Why have a good thing only once? It is so fun to have a sauce multiple times, especially when it comes out as perfectly as our honey mustard sauce did. We have so many more sauce recipes with three meal ideas coming your way! Every single meal we have made with our sauce recipes has been so mouthwatering delicious! I am positive that these next sauce recipes coming up and the meals that go with them will also be just as amazing.
My favorite thing about these cheddar apple bacon sliders was the hidden surprise of the baked apple. The apple combined beautifully with the honey mustard sauce and the bacon. Throw on some cheddar and chicken, and these little sliders were great show stoppers!
These cheddar apple bacon sliders were such a fun, summery treat! They would be perfect for an outdoor barbecue or to have has an appetizer at a party. We love how fast they were to make and how piling on the ingredients was completely fool proof. Once the apples were quickly baked, the bacon was crisped and the chicken was heated, stacking the other ingredients on top was an effortless task. After the incredibly simple process, these fun and delicious slider can be quickly devoured. If you make them, we know you will want to make them all summer long!
