If you enjoy tailgating or cooking at home with friends before your favorite sports game, then this is a meal you will want to save! We take a classic and turn it into an instant necessity to any pregame sports party! This recipe is called, Sloppy Buffalo Sliders. The creation and inspiration are just as amazing as the taste! This is hands down one of our favorite recipes yet!

For those that do not know, I am not the biggest fan of a Sloppy Joe. Sadly, Allie really wanted to create a Sloppy Joe for the blog. Her expression was priceless when she suggested her recipe idea, only to have me recommend something else. Quite frankly, I have only had a Sloppy Joe a couple times in my life. Who knows, maybe I will be more open to the idea of trying one soon. Needless to say, we began to brainstorm alternatives to this classic dish. I am huge football fan, and with the season starting today, September 8, 2016, Allie suggested an idea that would incorporate my love for tailgating and football. I love chicken wings, and she loves a Sloppy Joe. She was able to combine the best of both worlds! She created Sloppy Buffalo Sliders!

Sloppy Buffalo Sliders

The name speaks for itself, does it not? Sloppy Buffalo Sliders! You are probably thinking what I thought during the entire cooking process. How is this the first time I have heard of such an amazing idea? Shocking, right? Allie’s Sloppy Buffalo Sliders incorporate every wonderful taste that a chicken wing offers. As you bite into the slider, sauce will run down your chin and back into the plate. We used our buns to wipe this up, and eat it! We can literally say that this recipe is so good that no sauce was wasted during the eating process! Not only was the taste incredible, the cooking process was fun and simple.

Sloppy Buffalo Sliders

Allie began cooking the chicken on the skillet like she has done before. She appropriately seasoned and cooked the chicken; however the amazing part was when she added the wing sauce. The aromas that filled our kitchen were that of the sweet tang sauce instantly making me feel like I was sitting in my favorite wing restaurant. She topped the Sloppy Buffalo Sliders with, ranch, and fresh crumbled blue cheese, which made the taste even more divine. Every bite I kept asking, why have we not done this before? It was crazy to think that so many years of football and wings, that we have not tried making the wings into Sloppy Buffalo Sliders.

Not only are these Sloppy Buffalo Sliders great, but you can also enjoy it as leftovers the next day! After experiencing these sliders, your tailgating experience will never be the same. The flavor, spice, and deliciousness will keep you coming for more. I love that these are slider size, so it allows me to have three of them without feeling guilty. Not only do they pack quite the kick, but they are also surprisingly filling. I cannot wait to make these the next time I am either at a sports game, or invite our friends over for the game!
