Here is the first of our three recipes featuring our delicious lemon cream sauce! We cannot wait to show you all of the recipes we have made with this rich and amazing sauce. When we whipped up the simple sauce, we knew we wanted to use it with seafood. We love seafood and had a hard time coming up with what to use it on because of all the great fish options. However, after much debate, we decided to go with a tried and true classic. Salmon is definitely one of our favorite fish dishes. We have had it so many different ways and have enjoyed it with so many different ingredients. Even though we have had so many various salmon dishes, this baked salmon with lemon sauce was one of the best combinations we have tried! We were so amazed by the incredible flavors that this dish gave.







The best feature of this baked salmon with lemon sauce is that it is incredibly healthy while also being incredibly tasty. We quickly and happily devoured every bite of this dish. We loved how it was so fresh and satisfying all at the same time. The sauce complimented the salmon so perfectly and brought out the flavors so beautifully. As we ate this fantastic salmon dish, we were so thrilled by how it came out and how perfect it tasted.




Because it is so easy and flavorful, this lemon sauce may be our quick go-to midweek. This time of year, I cannot stop eating anything citrus flavored. Lemons and limes are so refreshing and pack so much amazing flavor. When the weather gets warmer, I crave anything that is packed with the citrus sourness that I cannot get enough of. This lemon sauce on top of a perfectly cooked salmon filet was the best way to get those flavors I love. With a great creamy touch, this sauce was such an excellent compliment to this salmon.

Salmon Cakes with Lemon Sauce

Salmon Cakes with Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

    For the Salmon
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Fresh Salmon
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 Lemon, sliced
  • For the Lemon Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • Juice from 1 Lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
  • For the Garnish
  • Rosemary Sprigs
  • Chopped Parsley

Instructions

    For the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a baking dish, lay down tin foil and drizzle olive oil on the bottom. Place uncooked salmon on the foil with the skin on. Season the salmon generously with salt and pepper. Place the sliced lemon on top and fold the tin foil loosely over the salmon. Bake for 17-20 minutes.
  3. For the Sauce
  4. In a large sauce pan on medium heat, add the butter, heavy cream, lemon juice and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix on stovetop for 2 minutes.
  5. Whisk in flour for 2 minutes until smooth. Stir in parsley and remove from heat.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over the salmon. Garnish with parsley and rosemary. Enjoy!
